NIKA TAIKO is a professional taiko group based in Paris, France.
Mixing Japanese traditional rhythms and original contemporary choreography, NIKA TAIKO develops its own repertoire with a focus on the precision of its aesthetic movements.
Close to a martial art, the technical work on the supports, the relaxed, flowing gestures bring nuance and extraordinary finesse to the powerful sound of taiko.
The result is a «visual sound» where music and dance become one, offering a dynamic and elegant performance.

We offer a variety of performances:

We propose adaptable Taiko demonstrations to the theme and atmosphere of your event, entirely composed by the founders of Nika Taiko.

The “IKIGAI” performance displays a powerful and positive energy, an ideal show to boost an audience.

In 2020, we launched our new 45-minute show called “IWA”, that offers the public a moment of escape and emotion though taiko, koto, song, dance and video
